Original Poem 7

Clock

A clockwise chase of
Two hands trailing,
Desperate to surpass the other.

Racing through sixty still onlookers
On a perfect circle track,
They speed past the twelfth
That marks the end.

No cheers are made
Or a winner declared,
It's just another minute
Gone by unnoticed.
